This course invites participants to explore Indigenous perspectives on emotional health and well-being. Rooted in a holistic understanding of connection to Country, culture, community, family, and spirit, the course offers valuable insights into how well-being is nurtured through cultural identity and collective strength. This course will equip you with the tools to support culturally responsive and respectful approaches that contribute to safe, inclusive, and empowering spaces for all.
Cultural Knowledge, Awareness & Safety
This course is designed to deepen understanding and foster culturally safe practices, the course encourages building meaningful and respectful relationships with Indigenous peoples. Whether you're working in education, health, government, or community services, this course will equip you with the foundational knowledge and awareness to contribute positively toward reconciliation and culturally safe environments.
Intergenerational Trauma
This course provides participants with a foundational understanding of intergenerational trauma experienced by Indigenous peoples. It explores the lasting impacts of colonisation, dispossession, and policies such as the Stolen Generations, and how these continue to affect families and communities today. This course will equip you with insights into trauma-informed approaches and the importance of empathy, healing, and cultural respect in supporting reconciliation and social justice.
