Community is the reason we do what we do

Community Partner: NAIDOC Big Deadly Day 2026

We were part of the planning and the successful delivery of the NAIDOC Big Deadly Day 2026, in Lismore for the community and surrounding communities.

This was a very well received community event which bought a lot of cultural celebration, awareness, and togetherness for everyone in our community and surrounding communities.

Wulu Jarjums - Getting kids back to school program

Funded through the Federal Government,
To help a local Northern NSW school with high representation of Aboriginal identified students to stay connected in school and work towards successful completion of school.

This is another way we are incorporating the importance of early cultural engagement in primary school settings, to ensure young Aboriginal students are best supported.
We can also work closely with the school to work towards a common goal of successful completion and the removing of any barriers that may present during their schooling.

Our Dream We Heal - Youth Programs

Funded through the Federal Government,
12-Week Healing, Trauma & Well-being youth programs.
Connecting young people to culture and supporting those involved with the youth and criminal justice system.

We worked closely with families, carers, schools, and local police to ensure we had buy-in in the community but also a targeted audience of young people who needed it most.

Aboriginal Engagement Program

Funded through NSW State Government,
To form a Project Advisory Group PAG, to share experiences and yarn about emergency preparedness with community-led and initiated voices. To better help navigate emergency preparedness for floods, storms, and tsunamis.

This consultation and yarning is key in the community. This provides the space and opportunity for Aboriginal communities to share their local cultural knowledge and lived experiences, with an NSW State Government Agency.
This is fostering a respectable relationship between Aboriginal communities and an NSW State Government Agency.

Cultural Awareness & Truth-telling Workshop

We have been working with a Local Government Council for the delivery of Cultural Awareness & Truther-telling sessions. We are delivering a number of sessions this year.

Our Cultural Awareness & Truth-telling sessions are being engaged in across communities and by Nation-wide companies.
